An Open Letter to U2: Please, Save the Yuppies
I feel slighted. As a 25-year fan of U2, I feel slighted.
We feel slighted. As the most loyal and ferociously dedicated musical audience in the world, DeeJayDog.TV, San Francisco, and the entire Bay Area feel slighted.
How could U2 not include a Northern California, San Francisco Bay Area tour date on their 360° Tour. Not so very 360, is it?
It’s just pathetic. Now we’re left to shoddy second-hand YouTube experiences, like this one of opening night in Barcelona:
The Edge, Bono, Larry, and Adam: let me remind you of your SF history…and pose a question — WHO WILL SAVE THE YUPPIES NOW? There will be no rock and roll to stop the traffic.
